Warranty & Return Policy
Thank you for choosing HILITING. We are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality lighting products and stand behind our workmanship under normal use conditions.
This Limited Warranty outlines what is covered, what is not, and how to request warranty service.
1. Warranty Coverage & Period
HILITING warrants that the following products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the periods listed below:
- All projectors: 18 months
- Glass gobos, remote control: Not covered under warranty
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase as shown on a valid proof of purchase.
If a valid proof of purchase cannot be provided, the warranty period will begin on the product’s date of manufacture, which is indicated on the silver identification label affixed to the projector unit.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
2. What This Warranty Covers
During the applicable warranty period, based on a review of customer-provided photos or videos, to have a manufacturing defect under normal use conditions, we will, at our discretion:
- Replace the defective product or part with the same or a comparable product or part; or
- Provide a prorated refund based on the remaining warranty period.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover issues caused by:
- Normal wear and tear (including lamps, fuses, belts, sockets, and similar consumable parts)
- Improper use, abuse, modification, or unauthorized repair
- Installation or operation not in accordance with product instructions or applicable regulations
- Electrical issues such as incorrect or unstable voltage
- Environmental conditions beyond the product’s rated specifications (including moisture, corrosion, extreme temperatures, or exposure exceeding the product’s IP rating)
- Acts of nature such as floods, storms, or other force-majeure events
- Natural LED aging, brightness reduction, or minor color shifts that do not affect functionality
- Use of the product for purposes other than its intended application
Products with removed or altered identification labels are not eligible for warranty service.
4. How to Request Warranty Service
To request warranty service, please contact us at info@hiliting.com
and provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Product model and manufacture date
- A description of the issue and when it was first noticed
Warranty eligibility will be evaluated based on the information and visual evidence provided by the customer.
5. Shipping & Service Costs
Within the warranty period:
If a warranty is approved and replacement parts are required, the replacement parts and shipping costs will be provided at no charge to the customer.
Outside the warranty period:
HILITING may assist customers with repair support. Any required replacement parts must be purchased by the customer. Shipping for purchased replacement parts will be provided at no additional cost.
6. Out-of-Warranty Repair Support
For products outside the warranty period, HILITING provides repair assistance based on product condition and part availability.
Replacement parts supplied for out-of-warranty repairs are covered by a 30-day limited warranty from the date of shipment.
7. Limitation of Liability
HILITING is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, downtime, or damage to other equipment.
HILITING’s total liability under this warranty will not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
All products are provided “as is”, except for the warranty expressly stated above.
8. Your Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by region.
ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED BY HILITING.
This warranty does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out in this warranty and, except as otherwise set forth in this limited warranty, no credit will be issued.
